Veteran Automotive Executive Gordon Heidacker Named Pureforge® CEO

PONTIAC, MICHIGAN, NOVEMBER 2021-- PureForge® is delighted to announce Gordon Heidacker is joining PureForge® as its Chief Executive Officer and Director.

Heidacker is an experienced automotive executive, having held senior-level positions at major OEMs in global procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier development, and global contract negotiations with significant experience in A&D, E&IP, metals, and transportation.

With over forty years of experience in the automotive industry, Heidacker led transformational change within the global automotive environment, including global powertrain contracts, alternative propulsion, hybrids, energy storage, and alternative fuels product development.

Heidacker served as Executive Director – Powertrain and Electrical Procurement and Supply at Chrysler Group (Stellantis). There he was responsible for $10 billion in annual purchases. These purchases included all Powertrain and Electrical components designed to reduce costs, improve quality, direct material, manufacturing, shipping, and development.

While at Chrysler (Stellantis), Heidacker had substantial influence and involvement in bringing several specialty vehicles to market, including the Dodge Viper and the Plymouth Prowler. He also led a pioneering team developing the domestic automotive industry's first all-aluminum vehicle, the Plymouth Prowler.

Heidacker holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in advertising with a concentration in mechanical engineering and a Master of Business Administration in finance and organizational behavior, each from the University of Michigan.
