Emissions & Regulation · The Clock Is Running
THE PROBLEM
Euro 7 regulates brake particulate at 7 mg/km, effective Nov 2027, and non-exhaust emissions are projected to be 90% of road-transport particles by 2050. It applies to ICE and EVs, and OEMs need compliance with standard components and no redesign.
SOLUTION
We're already under the limit, by more than half.
A production VW Golf measured 3.3 mg/km on OE low-steel pads, independently verified by TÜV NORD (WLTP GTR-24), with standard components, no redesign. Up to 80% less brake dust.

Durability, weight & the EV problem
THE PROBLEM
OEMs chase weight savings and durability; EVs use regen, so rotors sit and rust, and EVs still shed brake dust.
SOLUTION
Rotors that don't wear, prevent fade under heat, and don't corrode on the rubbing surface.
The Cr⁺ lattice eliminates rotor wear (the rotor gains mass), holds bite via the thermal-barrier effect, and gives no corrosion on the burnished rubbing surface. Because it doesn't wear, rotors can be re-engineered (e.g., cooling vanes on the outside for more heat rejection).
